Lake Oswego: I Didn't Expect It To Look Like This

I went on a side quest to Lake Oswego and ended up discovering how beautiful this little waterfront can be when its a smoky sunset. I headed out to Lake Oswego, Oregon to explore the lake and the area around Millennium Plaza Park as the sun was going down. There was quite a bit of wildfire smoke in the air that evening, and at first I wondered if the haze would make it difficult to enjoy the walk. Instead, the smoke created a beautiful golden glow across the lake, with colorful reflections on the water and a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere. I walked around Millennium Plaza Park and the surrounding area, took in the views, talked about the area and explored I could of Lake Oswego before it got too dark. If you're looking for a calm and relaxing place to spend an evening in the Portland area, Lake Oswego is a pretty great little side quest. Lake Oswego has several public areas where you can enjoy the lake, parks and waterfront, and Millennium Plaza Park is one of the main places to explore in the heart of the city. Lake Oswego is actually much larger than this area and I'll certainly be back to finish this mission.
