Two Charters and a Chaotic Carlisle 29 08 26

The Lakelander from Leicester was originally advertised as steam-hauled from Preston. Anticipating yet another 47/57 combination I was pleasantly surprised by what turned up. For its return journey I opted to join a friend and film it along the Settle and Carlisle line. Another charter with an extraordinary name ran too early in the morning for me to catch it, and on its homeward journey it fell foul of problems which caused chaos for all West Coast Main Line services in the evening.
