*Foundation of Mindfulness — Contemplation of the Mind | Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta* In this Dhamma teaching, we continue exploring the **Foundation of Mindfulness (Satipaṭṭhāna)**, focusing on the contemplation of the mind (*cittānupassanā*). The Buddha teaches monks to observe the mind as it actually is—without judgment, attachment, or identification. We learn to recognize: • The surpassable mind as surpassable • The unsurpassable mind as unsurpassable • The concentrated mind as concentrated • The unconcentrated mind as unconcentrated • The liberated mind as liberated • The mind that is not liberated as not liberated This practice teaches us to develop clear awareness of the changing states of consciousness. Instead of saying, *“This is my mind”* or *“I am this state of mind,”* we simply understand and observe what is present. Through mindfulness, we gradually develop wisdom and learn to see the mind with greater clarity, equanimity, and understanding. 🙏 May this reflection support your mindfulness practice and deepen your understanding of the Buddha’s teachings. *Namo Buddhaya.* #Satipatthana #Mindfulness #Buddhism #Dhamma #Meditation video credit : suvanno biku
