Pray for the Faces You Will See Today | Prayer for Patience & Kindness | Morning Prayer

You already passed judgment on someone this morning before your coffee finished brewing. This prayer asks God to catch that verdict before it lands — and to give you patience for every face you will see today. This morning prayer walks through 1 Samuel 16:7 — the Lord does not look at the outward appearance, but at the heart — and asks God to slow down the half-second where you decide who someone is going to be. It prays for the ones closest to you, for strangers you will pass in nine seconds, and for the one face you have held a verdict against for years. It ends by asking that the patience and kindness you have been given first would be given back through you today.
