🐾 Wildlife Camera Trap Highlights | Gula Gula Food Forest Program | West Sumatra, Indonesia (Jan–Jun 2026) Turn up the volume and step into the wild. This episode of What's Roaming? captures six months of wildlife returning to our restored food forests in West Sumatra, Indonesia, recorded by camera traps between January and June 2026. From majestic cats and birds of prey to playful cubs and elusive nocturnal visitors, each clip is proof that ecosystem restoration works. When the habitat recovers, the animals follow. This semester's highlights include: 🐻 Malayan sun bear (honey bear) -back again 🦌 Southern Red Muntjac - spotted for the first time 🐆 Wild cats 🐦 Forest birds 🐗 And a few more still unidentified - maybe you can help? A wonderful gift for our teams who work tirelessly every day to restore forests and preserve the habitats of a wide variety of species. Several animals were captured multiple times, at different hours and on different days. A clear sign that our food forests are becoming true, stable habitats for a growing variety of wildlife. Some visitors were too furtive to identify. Do you recognize any of them? Let us know in the comments. 👇 ----------------------------------------------------------- 🎥 This video was created in collaboration with explorer.land, as part of our ongoing biodiversity monitoring within the Gula Gula Food Forest Program.
