Your doctor may offer you the choice between subcutaneous and intravenous Remodulin. Here’s how Hannah came to her decision. REMODULIN SELECTED IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Use of Remodulin® may include risk of catheter-related bloodstream infections with intravenous infusion, worsening of PAH symptoms due to sudden large reductions in Remodulin dose, low blood pressure, and increased risk of bleeding. The most common adverse reactions to Remodulin include site pain and infusion site reaction (redness, swelling, and rash) which were sometimes severe, headache, diarrhea, nausea, rash, jaw pain, widening of the blood vessels (vasodilation), and swelling from fluid retention (edema). These are not all the possible side effects of Remodulin. Speak with your healthcare provider if you experience any of these side effects (optional statement, depending on intended audience).
