Step into the past with us as we explore Jarchi Bathhouse, a historic bathhouse in the heart of Isfahan, Iran. 🇮🇷
Built during the Safavid era, this beautiful historic space has witnessed generations of people and countless stories. After years of deterioration, the bathhouse was restored and brought back to life as a traditional restaurant and tourist destination.
We slowly walk down its old stairs, explore the beautiful arches, ancient architecture, water features, and traditional decorations, and imagine what life must have been like here hundreds of years ago.
But for Nadiya, our 5-year-old daughter, the most exciting discovery wasn't the historic architecture. It was a simple game of hopscotch waiting for her at the entrance! ❤️
We also sit down to enjoy a traditional Iranian meal with saffron chicken kebab, Persian rice, and fresh side dishes, surrounded by the atmosphere of this centuries-old building.
Join us for a relaxed family journey through one of Isfahan's fascinating historic places, where history, food, architecture, and childhood memories come together.
