X4 Foundations: 9.0 Beta 8 - Fleet combat test for my boron fleet, light station demolition

Hello everybody, A viewer ask me about the performance of a boron fleet in 9.0, and so....boron fleet test. Fleet composition: 1 Shark + 64 interceptor Mako 1 Ray + 9 Ray on bombard for commander 1 Orca + 20 bomber Hydra (9.0 loadout full plasma, ion pulse turrets) + 20 interceptor Thresher Observations: 9.0 AI improvements for destroyers also benefit the Rays. I panicked a bit and ordered the interceptor Makos to engage all, but I think the Rays could had handle the 3 Ks on their own dispite 9.0 allowing boron S/M ships using other races tech, I recommend using boron weapons and turrets, ion weapons have a lot of cool effects, disabling engines, boost, and even weapons. Threshers are good interceptors, especially with Ion rail gun and arc turrets, bonus 9.0 loadouts include 2 launchers. The devs seem to want to make the Threshers, the new boron M bombers, especially with Hydras not being able to have launchers, but I'm not ready to give up on interceptors Threshers, so I rather use the Thresher launchers for smart missile to aid in their interceptor roles, and keep Hydras on bombard duty, with full plasma. That being said, with 9.0 xenon focusing on swarming production, 20 Threshers are not invulnerable to swarms, and so you better keep the 64 Makos on launch status. I had some station demolition, but there were just with one module build. Expect more time required for 10 Rays to takeout a completed defence station. And that's it for the boron fleet. Solo Shark gameplay might be out for the time being, see my bomber Baracudas tests....but the boron fleet performance remain solid. Like I said, Ion weapons and turrets do a lot of nasty things to hostiles, especially to S/M targets, and with 9.0 xenon swarms, that might give a boron fleet the edge.
