Aksu Downtown Walk XinJiang, China 2024 October 4K UHD 60FPS Aksu City serves as the administrative seat of the Aksu Prefecture in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Situated at the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains and along the northwestern edge of the Tarim Basin, it is a vital transportation hub and a center for economy and culture in Southern Xinjiang, as well as a historic city on the Silk Road. The name "Aksu" means "clear water" or "white water" in the Uygur language. Thanks to its relatively abundant water resources and thriving oasis agriculture, the city is renowned as a "Jiangnan beyond the Great Wall" and a "land of melons and fruits." Aksu's "rock-sugar heart" apples are famous nationwide for their crisp, sweet flesh, high sugar content, and distinctive translucent, crystalline cores. The walking route begins at Century Square, passes through Baishui Bazaar, Wenzhou Pedestrian Street, and several nearby neighborhoods, finally concluding at Xinglong Pedestrian Street.
