Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad

In September of 2014, Penn Rail Videos made an epic journey to the pacific northwest corner of the United States. During our visit, we managed to capture a lot of footage of various railroads in the region. This video takes us to the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad in Elbe, Washington. In this video, we see ALCO-built 2-8-2T #17 hauling the excursions to Mineral, WA. We'll follow the train as well as take a ride on this former logging route. The line features a spectacular view of Mt. Rainier on one of its many bridges. Join us for a unique experience on this popular tourist attraction in the Pacific Northwest.
