Chaotic Morning at Carlisle after Storm Boelo 26 October 2026

26th October at Carlisle. Storm Boelo had passed through yesterday. This morning the WCML is somewhat in chaos with speed restrictions over Shap and in Scotland, rumours of a points failure at Lancaster, Overhead issues and so on. Plus the wonds on Saturday had apparently loosened some of the train shed roof panels eading to Platform three being closed to trains. TransPennine Express are terminating trains. Most other trains are in some cases many hours late. An intermodal has wagons with severe wheel flats..... The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
