Trying to Surf in Varamon

First time really trying to surf on a lake… and it turned into a full-on storm session 🌊💨 I went to Varamon (Lake Vättern, Sweden) to see if it’s actually possible to surf wind-driven waves as a beginner. It was way harder than expected – strong winds, messy waves, and constant paddling just to get into position. This was only my second time wave surfing, so everything still feels new. I had to start on my knees, struggled to get up, and most rides were short… but I still managed to catch a few waves. Honestly, lake surfing is a different beast compared to the ocean. Short period waves, no clean sets, and the wind makes everything chaotic.
