18 Holes at Monmouthshire Golf Club. Every shot from my round at this super course by the river Usk

Every shot from my round at the Monmouthshire Golf Club in Llanfoist, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, on 28th June 2024. Abergavenny is a super town and not too far from me and with a few courses nearby already "done" it was inevitable that the Monmouthshire would be added to my ever growing list of played and filmed courses before too long! I was keen to play it on a work day evening to make use of the twilight tee times offered so when the planets aligned and with the weather looking good, a Friday evening in late June was the perfect opportunity. I was aware that a feature of the Monmouthshire is tree lined fairways and with my questionable accuracy off the tee, this was always going to be a challenge. An awful drive on the first set the tone for my play but a scrambled par also reflected my score for the evening. It's a super course with accuracy being the main requirement. No real demons of holes with regards to length but some real crackers using the contours of the land, especially on the back 9. As mentioned, the trees really come into play if you're even slightly off line but good shots are rewarded and once on the greens, they were a good, consistent pace, even if they were a little firm and bouncy to hold. There are some super views here of the surrounding hills and you're always in view of the Blorenge or the Black Mountains. I really enjoyed my round here despite battling the consistency of my game and would recommend this course as a great one to come and visit 👍 00:00 - Intro & Hole 1 01:36 - Hole 2 02:28 - Hole 3 03:36 - Hole 4 04:50 - Hole 5 05:42 - Hole 6 07:21 - Hole 7 08:45 - Hole 8 10:23 - Hole 9 11:39 - Hole 10 12:19 - Hole 11 13:46 - Hole 12 14:57 - Hole 13 16:28 - Hole 14 17:20 - Hole 15 18:52 - Hole 16 19:51 - Hole 17 21:28 - Hole 18 23:12 - Summary & Statistics #golf #golfswing #golfgraphics #golfstats #golfing #irons #callaway #callawaygolf #wintergolf #ordinarygolf #breaking80 #break90 #11handicap #struggle #shottracer #golfcourse #golfer #golfvideo #golflife #allshots #everyshot #wales #18holes Music credit "Inspired" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b... https://www.monmouthshiregolfclub.co.uk/   / monmouthshiregc     / @monmouthshiregc     / monmouthshiregc   The Monmouthshire Golf Club Llanfoist, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire NP7 9HE
