A major focus has been companies being used to purchase land and property that are ultimately being utilized or controlled by foreign nationals. But that raises an interesting question… What’s next? In this video, I’m going to explain what I believe could be the next major area of investigation involving foreigners living in Thailand. Is the government going to expand its focus into another common practice involving foreign residents? And if so, who could potentially find themselves under the microscope? I’ll break down what I’m seeing, why I think this could be the next target, and what foreigners living in Thailand should be paying attention to. This is my analysis and opinion based on the current direction of Thailand’s enforcement efforts — not a prediction that any particular individual or group is breaking the law.
