Locomotive Cab Ride from St. Louis Park to Savage, Minnesota

The video rides a Twin Cities & Western train, onboard a GP-30C, from the western Minneapolis suburb of St. Louis Park, using the ex-Minneapolis, Northfield & Southern (MN&S) tracks, including the switchback, south through Edina and Bloomington, to deliver grain to the giant elevators on the Minnesota River. This rare look at this line includes crossing the Minnesota River using the Twin Cities & Western's swingbridge. The ex-MN&S stations the line goes through are: Milwaukee Jct., Warden, Atwood, Nesbitt, Auto Club and Port Cargill.
