MBT Spokesman Amjed Ullah Khan Visits OGH, Meets Family of Murder Victim Hyderabad, September 18, 2026: Amjed Ullah Khan, Spokesman of Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT), visited Osmania General Hospital (OGH) and met the relatives of Mohammed Hashmath Ali Khan (55), who was allegedly stabbed to death, and his son Omer Ali Khan (18), who sustained serious injuries in the same incident. Both Mohammed Hashmath Ali Khan and Omer Ali Khan are residents of Bagh-e-Jahara, under the Madannapet Police Station limits in Hyderabad's Old City. According to the information available, Hashmath Ali Khan was allegedly attacked with a knife after he confronted and objected to a youth allegedly harassing his daughter. When his son Omer Ali Khan intervened, he was also allegedly attacked and seriously injured. Hashmath Ali Khan reportedly died at the spot, while Omer was rushed to hospital for treatment. During his visit to OGH, Amjed Ullah Khan met the family members, expressed his condolences over the tragic death of Hashmath Ali Khan and enquired about Omer Ali Khan's medical condition and treatment. Mr. Khan urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation, examine the CCTV footage available in the area and take necessary legal action against the accused in accordance with law. He also appealed to the authorities to extend all possible assistance to the injured Omer Ali Khan and the bereaved family. MBT stands with the family during this difficult time and called for a fair and prompt investigation into the incident.
