Camino Francés Day 15: Atapuerca to Burgos

18.3 k's today, all the way into Burgos! First proper city since Pamplona, and it felt like a big milestone. Took the river route in rather than cutting through the industrial area, which made all the difference — much nicer way to arrive, following the water right into the old town instead of trudging past warehouses. Two nights here at Hostal Lar, so tomorrow's a rest day — first chance in a while to just wander without the pack on. Burgos Cathedral's an absolute stunner, one of the best on the whole Camino. Worth the extra time here just for that.
