This vid is about the Ikebukuro portion of the game's plot Oni 1 0:25:18 Oni 2 0:50:49 Orthrus 1:44:00 Yaksini 1:49:15 Thor 1:55:29 Raidou 2:18:44 Oni 3 3:33:07 Daisoujou 5:20:39 Tips: There's an obligatory 3 enemy boss rush once you enter that tall building, featuring Orthrus, Yaksini and finally Thor. No saves in between these 3 fights. After that, you face two other bosses later on, Raidou (or Dante from DMC if you got the Maniax DLC) and Daisoujou Orthrus is a cakewalk of a boss. Go into his battle alone (or with allies that null fire) with the Shiranui magatama equipped, and you null all his fire attacks. He can only damage you with Stun Claw which he rarely uses, and you can just heal it off. Orthrus will eventually run out of MP, and when that happens, summon your entire party so that your demons also get EXP from the battle, then kill Orthrus. Yaksini is an even easier cakewalk boss. Use the same strategy as Orthrus, but with the Hifumi magatama and null wind demons instead After that, you can face the real Mantra boss, Thor Thor: Reflects elec attacks, has no weakness, but can be frozen with Bufu or Ice Breath. He has 2 phases. On his first phase, he only uses Elec attacks and his normal attack, but once you get him to his second phase, his AI is now able to use Dekunda and Diarama. The strat: Fully debuff Thor and then fully buff your team. Optimally try get him very close to the phase 2 HP threshold, then try to kill him next turn before he can use Dekunda. Using Ice attacks might help score critical hits since Thor is not immune to the Frozen status. Immediately after Thor, you can face Raidou (or Dante), but you should heal and save beforehand. Raidou (or Dante from DMC): Super tough battle. He has no weakness whatsoever, not even to zio/bufu's Shock/Freeze. Has 2 phases. On phase 1, he uses either his normal attack, his gun attack, or the stupidly insanely strong Enter Yoshitsune (phys attack, 50%+ crit chance, high damage, 0% miss chance). He also has Raptor Guardian (Dekunda). Once he loses alot of health, he says some dialogue mid battle and enters Phase 2, where he can now use Provoke (2x Rakunda but also 2x Tarukaja as a demerit) and Mokoi Boomerang (High phys damage to all enemies, high chance to inflict Panic), plus he keeps all his previous moves The strat: Same strat as Matador, minus the anti-wind damage stuff. Optimally, bring demons with phys resist (Choronzon, Blob, Momunofu) since Raidou (or Dante) only uses physical attacks. When the battle starts, fully buff your team since he doesn't have Dekaja, then continue damaging him until he reaches phase 2. Optimally try to Rakunda him the turn before phase 2 starts and deal as much damage as you can, to either kill him faster or make him waste a phase 2 turn using Raptor Guardian (Dekunda). Finally, after defeating Raidou (or Dante), you can fight Daisoujou He is an optional battle, but he is really easy. He doesn't have Dekunda nor Dekaja, so fully debuffing him and fully buffing your team is the best strat. Unfortunately, he has this move called Meditation that deals single target damage that removes a huge chunk of HP and MP. Lowering his attack and raising your defense also lowers the amount of HP+MP he absorbs with Meditation. He has a phase 2 and even a phase 3. On phase 2, he gets AOE instakill skills (Mahamaon, Mamudoon), Preach (low AOE damage, chance to inflict a random debuff), and Startle (have 4 turns instead of just 2) The strat: Make sure to have at least 8 chakra drops (or less if you have a Chakra Pot) before daring to enter this battle. Starting the battle by fully debuffing Daisoujou, then fully buffing yourself. If you have a Tetraja rock, activate it once you’re done with the buffs/debuffs. After finishing with the buff/debuffs, go full ham on damage and just kill Daisoujou before he can use Mamudoon or Mahamaon on you
