श्रीमद्भागवत महापुराण के आठवें स्कन्ध (अध्याय 12 से आगे) का यह पावन प्रसंग भगवान शिव द्वारा मोहिनी रूप के दर्शन और तत्पश्चात भगवान विष्णु के 'वामन अवतार' के दिव्य प्राकट्य को उजागर करता है। जब दैत्यराज बलि ने स्वर्ग पर अधिकार कर लिया, तब अदिति के तप से प्रसन्न होकर श्रीहरि ने कश्यप-अदिति के पुत्र के रूप में वामन रूप धारण किया। ब्रह्मचारी बटुक रूप में भगवान वामन राजा बलि के अश्वमेध यज्ञ में पधारे और केवल तीन पग भूमि की याचना की। यह व्याख्यान अहंकार के समर्पण, दानशीलता, शरणागति और ईश्वर की असीम कृपा के गूढ़ आध्यात्मिक रहस्यों का विवेचन करता है। यह चर्चा पूर्णतः श्रीमद्भागवत महापुराण के दार्शनिक और आध्यात्मिक सिद्धांतों पर आधारित है। Commencing from the twelfth chapter of the Eighth Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam, this discourse explores Lord Shiva’s encounter with the Mohini form, followed by the divine advent of the Vamana Avatar. When King Bali conquered the heavens, Lord Vishnu responded to the penance of Aditi and Kashyapa by appearing as the dwarf celibate (Vamana). Arriving at King Bali's sacrificial arena, the young Brahmachari asked for merely three paces of land. The talk elucidates the deep spiritual symbolism of surrender, the dissolution of pride, righteous charity, and supreme devotion.Srimad Bhagavatam, composed by Sage Vedavyasa, is considered the crown jewel of Puranic literature, revealing the highest truth of Devotion (Bhakti), Divine Leela, and Ultimate Knowledge (Jnana).
