For more than twenty years, one man kept telling a story about one night in Las Vegas: in 2008 to detectives, with his lawyer in the room; in 2018 on television; in 2019 in a book with his name on the cover. In 2026 a jury took less than three hours to believe him.
Why did a case that police say they understood within months stay open for twenty-seven years? Why would a man protected by a deal with detectives repeat his story on camera? This documentary investigation of the murder of Tupac Shakur is built from the record: the Las Vegas police briefing of 2023, the testimony and recordings played to the jury, the FBI's own file and the sentencing hearing of October 13, 2026.
