Join us for a beautiful 4K scenic drive from **Kamloops to Salmon Arm, British Columbia**, travelling along the Trans-Canada Highway through the Shuswap region, with forested hills, lakeside roads, dramatic clouds, and changing afternoon light. This is Episode 4 of our Vancouver to Calgary Road Trip, filmed on March 22, 2025. We leave Kamloops and continue east along Highway 1, enjoying the changing scenery of British Columbia's Interior. Along the way, we encounter a freight train travelling beside the highway, pass through the Village of Chase, and drive along the beautiful shores of Little Shuswap Lake. One of my favourite things about this stretch is how the landscape keeps changing. From open valleys and distant snow-dusted ridges to forested hills and peaceful lakeside scenery, there is plenty to enjoy without ever leaving the highway. As the afternoon continues, we make our way toward Salmon Arm, a beautiful community in the Shuswap region. Our destination for the evening is the Best Western in Salmon Arm, where we stop for the night before continuing our journey east.
