Psalm 29 — The Voice of YAHUAH | Full of Majesty | The Psalms Project

Psalm 29 is a declaration of the overwhelming power and majesty of the Voice of YAHUAH. His Voice is over the waters. His Voice breaks the cedars. His Voice shakes the wilderness. His Voice flashes through the storm. All creation responds. The sea, the sky, the mountains, the forests, and the desert all bear witness to the One who speaks with authority no earthly power can match. “The Voice of YAHUAH is powerful; the Voice of YAHUAH is full of majesty.” Psalm 29 is not simply about a storm. It is about the King who reigns above it. Above the flood, He reigns. Above the nations, He reigns. Above every force that seems overwhelming, YAHUAH remains King forever. And then, after all the thunder and shaking, the Psalm ends somewhere beautiful: Strength. Peace. The same Voice that shakes creation gives strength to His people and gives them peace. The forests tremble At His command. The mountains leap Like startled rams. The wilderness shakes Before His presence. Fire flashes. Lightning dances. Thunder answers His command. Who speaks? YAHUAH! Who reigns? YAHUAH! Who commands the storm? YAHUAH! His Voice! His Voice! His Voice! The Voice of YAHUAH Splits the flames. The Voice of YAHUAH Shakes the desert. The Voice of YAHUAH Strips the forests bare. Everything living Cries aloud: Glory! Glory! Glory! Glory! Glory! Above the flood… You still reign. Above the storm… You still reign. Above the nations… You still reign. Forever… You still reign. You give strength… To Your people. You give peace… To Your people. You remain… Forever. The Voice of YAHUAH! Over every ocean!
