Connect: A Crisis Intervention Program for Everyone

Connect is a human-informed approach that helps people with disabilities and teams respond effectively to trauma, stress, and dysregulation. Using simple, practical strategies, it builds resilience, strengthens relationships, and supports emotional regulation in everyday interactions and moments of crisis. Grounded in felt safety, connection, and self-regulation, the framework includes tools like the Connect Thermostat and de-escalation strategies for anger. Participants will learn to use curiosity, stay grounded, and respond more effectively in challenging situations. Presenter: T.
