Leave Management System with AI Agents: Answers in 3 Minutes | ElixirClaw

A leave management system that decides requests in minutes without breaking minimum cover. This video shows AI agents applying the shift agreement, finding cover and updating payroll at a busy port. At Harborline Ports, 3,800 shift workers sent 212 leave requests in the first week of peak season, and answers usually took six days. By 8:12 the agents have decided 196 requests with an average answer in three minutes and every shift still covered. Crane operator Luis Ortega's three-week request needs overtime 1,200 pounds above the weekly cap, so it waits for the terminal operations manager, who approves it in Slack. The Leave Orchestrator directs request, policy, roster, cover and payroll agents, with the HR system, roster, shift agreement and payroll connected through MCP into the ElixirData context graph. Policy blocks any leave that breaks minimum cover, overtime above the cap needs a manager, editing balances is switched off, and AgentOps records every decision. An answer in three minutes, 92% of requests decided within the rules and no shift below minimum cover, with managers deciding every exception.
