Garden Update: What happened while I was gone?

Checking on the vegetable garden after two weeks away. See how the plants handled my time off and what is ready to pick. I have been gone for two weeks and finally had a chance to walk through the backyard garden today. It is always a bit nerve-wracking to leave everything for that long, but I was happy to see how much progress the plants made while I was away. My daughter mentioned the tomatoes were coming along, and she was right. I spent some time checking on the beans, zucchini, and cabbage to see how the garden growth is coming along. Good garden maintenance is usually a daily task, so it was interesting to see how the plot handled a short break. It is nice to be back and see what the season is bringing us.
