Gospel in Generations - Genesis 5 at HCCF #gospel #forgiveness #jesus #prophecy

"Skip the names; they are boring!" Many people don't understand that the Lord has a lot to say even when it seems like just a bunch of names, a genealogy. When we look at chapter 5 and the genealogy of humanity at this time, we see the Gospel message. Each name has a meaning. Each name helps us understand the history of mankind and the coming King, Jesus who would ultimately bring us rest. When God tells us that ALL Scripture is useful, He also means the genealogies. It might be easy to skip them but, what are we missing? Keep studying the word! It will never return empty or void. Lord bless you and you keep learning of our wonderful Lord and Savior!
