Touring the 'Last of the Summer Wine' Pilot Episode Locations (50th Anniversary)

To celebrate the series' 50th anniversary, the Summer Winos (Bob Fischer and Andrew T. Smith) tracked down many of the locations from the long running sitcom's very first episode "Of Funerals and Fish". First shown in January 1973, this episode introduced viewers to Compo, Clegg, Blamire, Nora, Sid, Ivy, and the town of Holmfirth in West Yorkshire. The Summer Winos mission is to celebrate Roy Clarke's classic Britcom Last of the Summer Wine in all it's forms in as many ways possible – reviewing episodes, making videos, publishing books, and mounting stage shows.
