AMERICAN COUPLE LEAVING MIAMI TO RETIRE IN THE PHILIPPINES 🇺🇸🇵🇭 Hello & Kamusta Everyone! We’re Balikbayan Expat, John & Michelle, here in Miami. Welcome to our very 1st vlog! 🌴✈️ We made this video using nothing more than an iPhone, B-roll footage, and VoiceOver — without a microphone! Some of the B-roll footage was filmed while boating with friends on their boat — not ours. 🚤😊 We decided not to spend money on new cameras or expensive equipment for our first videos because, honestly, we weren't even sure what we were doing yet! 😂 We're learning everything as we go, including how to create and post videos on YouTube. We learned a lot simply by asking ChatGPT! In this video, we share how we came up with the idea of moving from Miami to the Philippines to retire. But this isn't a completely new idea for us. Back in 2015, in our early 40's and 50's, we semi-retired in Boracay Island, where we explored the island, traveled throughout Southeast Asia, and experienced everything island life had to offer. 🌴🏝️ Now we're ready for our next chapter!
