The plaintiff says he’s known the defendant since he was a kid and thought he could trust him. He claims the defendant borrowed his car and trashed the brakes, and even stole tools. He’s suing to cover the costs. The defendant claims the plaintiff lied and told his pregnant girlfriend he was cheating, so he kept the tools. Case 29-238
