Russia’s Tu-214 program has received a major boost with a memorandum covering 100 aircraft for S7 Group and the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK). The agreement was signed by UAC, S7 and GTLK in February 2026 and builds on earlier cooperation. The planned Tu-214s would be configured for S7’s operating requirements, with a cabin layout capable of carrying up to 213 passengers. Serial deliveries are planned to begin in 2029, although the parties still need to finalize the detailed agreements.
