National Trust - Fountains Abbey | Britain's Largest Monastic Ruin.

Today I visited The National Trust, Fountain Abbey today. This was my first time going to see the ruins, and I loved it, it certainly is a fantastic place to look around the ruins and sit and relax and enjoy the views. Some history 👇👇👇 Fountains Abbey in North Yorkshire is Britain's largest monastic ruin. Founded in 1132 by breakaway Benedictine monks seeking a simpler life, it later joined the Cistercian order.
