जयपुर का गढ़ गणेश मंदिर अपनी अनोखी विशेषता के कारण विश्वभर में प्रसिद्ध है। यहाँ भगवान गणेश बाल स्वरूप में, बिना सूंड के स्थापित हैं। यह मंदिर अरावली की पहाड़ी की चोटी पर नाहरगढ़ किले के समीप स्थित है और दूर से भव्य मुकुट जैसा दिखाई देता है। मंदिर तक पहुँचने के लिए लगभग 500 मीटर की चढ़ाई करनी पड़ती है और यहाँ से पूरे जयपुर शहर का अद्भुत दृश्य देखा जा सकता है। गढ़ गणेश मंदिर की स्थापना महाराजा सवाई जयसिंह ने जयपुर बसाने से पहले अश्वमेध यज्ञ के दौरान कराई थी। विशेष बात यह भी है कि सिटी पैलेस के चंद्रमहल से इस मंदिर की प्रतिमा का दर्शन किया जा सकता है। हर बुधवार को बड़ी संख्या में भक्त यहाँ आते हैं क्योंकि माना जाता है कि इस दिन पूजन से सभी विघ्न-बाधाएँ दूर होती हैं। मंदिर में गणेश चतुर्थी, अन्नकूट और पौष बड़े जैसे उत्सव बड़ी धूमधाम से मनाए जाते हैं। यहाँ आने वाले भक्त अपनी मनोकामना पूरी होने की प्रार्थना करते हैं। जयपुर आने पर इस मंदिर के साथ-साथ हवामहल, जंतर-मंतर, जलमहल और नाहरगढ़ किला जैसे दर्शनीय स्थलों का आनंद भी लिया जा सकता है। The Garh Ganesh Temple in Jaipur is one of the most unique temples in India, dedicated to Lord Ganesha in his child form, without a trunk.
