Jongmyo Shrine (종묘) दक्षिण कोरियाको सिओलमा अवस्थित एक प्रसिद्ध र ऐतिहासिक कन्फ्युसियस मन्दिर (Confucian Shrine) हो। यो जोसियोन राजवंश (Joseon Dynasty: 1392–1910) का राजा र रानीहरूको स्मृतिमा पूजाअर्चना गर्न निर्माण गरिएको थियो। यसका मुख्य र महत्त्वपूर्ण विशेषताहरू : ऐतिहासिक महत्त्व: यो विश्वकै सबैभन्दा पुरानो र सुरक्षित रूपमा रहेको कन्फ्युसियस शाही मन्दिर हो। यसको निर्माण सन् १३९४ मा राजा ताइजो (King Taejo) को शासनकालमा सुरु भएको थियो। युनेस्को विश्व सम्पदा सूची (UNESCO World Heritage): यसको अद्वितीय वास्तुकला र ऐतिहासिक महत्त्वका कारण सन् १९९५ मा युनेस्कोले यसलाई विश्व सम्पदा सूचीमा सूचीकृत गरेको थियो। वास्तुकला (Architecture): यहाँको मुख्य भवन 'ज्योङझोन' (Jeongjeon) परम्परागत कोरियाली वास्तुकलाको उत्कृष्ट नमुना हो। यो कोरियाकै सबैभन्दा लामो परम्परागत काठको भवन मानिन्छ। यसको बनावट सादा भए पनि अत्यन्तै भव्य र शान्त छ। जोङ्मिओ जेरे (Jongmyo Jerye): यहाँ सयौँ वर्षदेखि चल्दै आएको शाही पूजाआजाको परम्परा (Ancestral Ritual) अझै पनि कायम छ। हरेक वर्ष मे (May) महिनाको पहिलो आइतबार यहाँ विशेष पूजापाठ र सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरिन्छ, जसलाई 'जोङ्मिओ जेरे' भनिन्छ। सङ्गीत र नृत्य (Jongmyo Jeryeak): यो पूजाका क्रममा बजाइने परम्परागत सङ्गीत र प्रस्तुत गरिने नृत्यलाई युनेस्कोले 'अमूर्त सांस्कृतिक सम्पदा' (Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) को रूपमा मान्यता दिएको छ। जोसियोन कालको इतिहास, कोरियाली संस्कृति र परम्परागत वास्तुकलालाई नजिकबाट बुझ्नका लागि जोङ्मिओ मन्दिर एक अत्यन्तै महत्त्वपूर्ण स्थल हो। Jongmyo Shrine is a renowned and historic Confucian shrine located in Seoul, South Korea. It was built to honor the spirits of the kings and queens of the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1910). Its key features include: Historical Significance: It is the oldest and best-preserved Confucian royal shrine in the world. Its construction began in 1394 during the reign of King Taejo.
