What I Believe About the Bible Now

In this video, I share how my understanding of the Bible has changed as I’ve studied Scripture more deeply. Rather than choosing between faith and scholarship, I’ve come to see several layers of biblical interpretation: scholarly exegesis, the interpretation of the faith community, and personal revelation through the Spirit. I discuss contradictions, historical context, ancient worldviews, and why I don’t believe every passage must speak with one perfectly unified voice. Yet through all of these complexities, my approach remains centered on Jesus Christ and the transformative relationship Scripture can help create with Him.
