What if writer’s block doesn’t always mean you’ve run out of ideas? As the next Haven Hollow deadline gets closer, I’ve had to admit that while I keep telling myself I’m going to work on the next book, my creative attention keeps going everywhere else. In this episode of Author’s Notes with Lula Starling, I’m talking about the difference between being creatively stuck and simply being blocked from one particular project—and whether independent authors sometimes recreate publishing pressure for ourselves that we don’t actually need. Sometimes discipline means sitting down and finishing the work. But sometimes it may be worth asking what your resistance is trying to tell you.
