After years away from competitive tenpin bowling, I have 60 days to prepare for England's biggest tournament. Welcome to Part 1 of my journey from retired bowler to competing at the BTBA English Open 2026 at Stroud Bowl. In this first episode (covering August to September), I’m shaking off the rust, rebuilding my approach during weekly league nights, and testing how a smooth, low-rev style holds up as I prepare for tough sport patterns. If you enjoy tenpin bowling vlogs, sports progression challenges, and tournament prep content, make sure to Subscribe and follow along as I document the full 2-month road to the English Open! Part 2 coming early October, Part 3 will be the English Open itself (whether it ends up being a good idea or not).
