It shines. It tempts. And sometimes— it leads us somewhere we should never have entered. Geumdwaeji, literally the “Golden Pig,” appears in Korean folk narratives in various forms. Some tales portray a monstrous golden pig dwelling in a cave, abducting people or threatening the human world before eventually being confronted and defeated. Its body gleams like treasure. But beneath that golden light waits something monstrous. Step by step, you follow the glow deeper into the darkness. Until you finally understand— the treasure was never waiting for you. You were walking toward the beast. For this track, we reimagined the strange figure of Geumdwaeji through cinematic orchestra and Korean traditional elements, blending the brilliance of gold with the darkness of human desire.
