End-to-End Demonstration of Host-Based Pipeline Deployment for the Debezium Platform, developed as part of Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2026 under Red Hat / Debezium. This feature introduces a first-class alternative to the Kubernetes Operator deployment path, allowing users to deploy, monitor, and manage containerized Debezium Server CDC pipelines directly on bare-metal servers, cloud VMs (EC2/GCP/Azure), and on-premise infrastructure without managing Kubernetes. 💡 KEY ARCHITECTURAL HIGHLIGHTS: • Enterprise Clean Architecture & Boundary Isolation (Domain Records vs JPA Entities) • GoF Command Pattern execution for ad-hoc Ansible commands • Concurrency safety via PESSIMISTIC_WRITE locks (sorted by ID to prevent ABBA deadlocks) • Pluggable HostContainerRuntime abstraction (Ansible ad-hoc SSH vs Host Agent REST API) • SHA-256 configuration hash validation to detect unauthorized on-disk edits 👨‍💻 AUTHOR & MENTORS: • Contributor: Divyanshu Kumar (https://github.com/d1vyanshu-kumar) • Mentors: Mario Fiore Vitale, Giovanni Panice • Organization: Red Hat JBoss (Debezium) #Debezium #ChangeDataCapture #Java #Quarkus #GSoC2026 #OpenSource #Docker #Ansible #SoftwareArchitecture
