DJ Hidden - Ghost Story (Official Audio)

“If you know the origin of the melodic part sampled in this track, you’ll recognize it as coming from what could be considered a kind of ghost story. I don’t often sample melodic riffs in their entirety anymore, but in this case, I had to make an exception. Everything else was built around it from scratch. The result was a track that became quite defining for my future work, as it marked the start of a way of working where I would still build around a central idea — but using my own riffs instead. And while this track began with a sample, I do feel that I ultimately made it my own.” DJ Hidden Ghost Story has been remastered and is now available on Re:percussions Part II.
