Stories from rural Zenica | GORICA | Tradition around the table and through song

What connects the aroma of homemade burek and hurmašice, the sound of traditional Bosnian songs, and women gathered around the table? In this video story, members of the Gorica Women's Association take us back to a time when preparing food was not just a daily chore, but also an opportunity to gather, talk, sing, and enjoy each other's company. Through rolling out jufka (traditional thin pastry dough), preparing traditional burek and hurmašice, sharing meals around the table, and singing Bosnian songs, they show us how recipes, customs, and knowledge were passed down from generation to generation.
