Black holes pull everything in. A white hole, at least in theory, would do the opposite. Nothing could enter. Matter and energy could only escape. But what would actually happen if you somehow found one—and tried to fall into it? White holes appear as possible solutions to Einstein’s equations, but no confirmed example has ever been observed. Some theories connect them to black holes, wormholes, the Big Bang, or entirely different regions of spacetime. Getting close to one could be stranger than simply being pushed away. Gravity, time and causality may behave in ways that make the idea of “falling in” impossible from the beginning. And if white holes do exist, they may force us to rethink what black holes really are. This documentary explores one of the strangest hypothetical objects in physics and asks: What would happen if you fell into a white hole? FOOTAGE & VISUAL CREDITS Credits: STScI | ESO | J.
