One Basement, Five Purposes: A Mequon Remodel Tour

This basement in Mequon was reimagined to work as hard as the family living above it. In this walkthrough, we tour a complete renovation that turned unused square footage into five distinct spaces: a wet bar for entertaining, a bunk room built for guests and grandkids, a sports viewing area anchored by two TVs, a dedicated exercise room, and a full bathroom to support it all. The project was designed by Catron Design Haus, with LaBonte Construction handling every phase of the build. As with all of our work, the goal wasn't just to add square footage, but to make sure each space was purpose-built and finished to a standard that holds up under close inspection. Take a full tour of the finished space and see how a basement can become the most-used room in the house.
