YOU DON'T KNOW YOU'VE BEEN PROMOTED | Dag Heward-Mills

Dag Heward-Mills opens Psalm 103 and Deuteronomy 28 and makes a striking observation: you do not know you have been promoted. He compares it to flying at a thousand kilometres an hour in an airplane - everything around you is moving at the same speed, so nothing feels fast until you step outside and meet someone who has not been lifted. That is why we forget God's benefits. He then turns the same lens on relationships: every unhappy marriage, every bitter person he has ever counselled has one thing in common - they have forgotten the good that was done for them. The takeaway is pointed and practical: keep your memory working, remember what God has done, and you will see how far He has brought you.
