The truth regarding John 17

In this video, we will examine John 17 and its teaching on the relationship between Jesus Christ and the Father. We will address the claim that Jesus calling the Father “the only true God” denies His own divinity, while looking at Christ’s authority to give eternal life and His glory with the Father before creation. We will also respond to the objection that the disciples receiving glory makes them divine, explaining the distinction between Christ’s divine glory by nature and the glory Christians receive through the Holy Spirit. Finally, we will examine this distinction through the writings of St. Cyril of Alexandria and the broader biblical context.
