(Please Subscribe) Lyrics: The alarms are screaming through the ancient stone, The high corporate Republic is left all alone. A sixteen-year-old kid steps right through the gate, With a mind full of vengeance and a bloodline of hate. The guardians charge with their blades in the air, A dozen elite knights rushing into the glare— But he moves like a phantom, a blackout, a flood, Slicing through protectors, painting pillars in blood! Cutting them down like butter! Left cold on the floor! The magic of the Jedi means nothing anymore! It’s child’s play to Sidious, the storm has begun— The reckoning of shadows under a burning sun! He carves a red path through the long hallway, Vaporizing masters who stand in his way. Deep in the sanctum, as the blast doors divide, Master Finn locks his wife and his young son inside. He slams down the lever, he overrides fear, Screaming: "Get to the capsule! Get out of here!" He launches his heart out to survive the blast— A perfect, toxic mirror to the ghosts of the past. The escape pod ejects as the architecture cries, Finn’s wife and his son watch through terrified eyes. The heavy doors buckle, the inner steel breaks, And the ruler of the order stands up as it shakes. Jedi Master Finn steps out from the cloud, An aged, weary warrior, defensive and proud. He looks at the kid, at the ash on the floor, And screams through the panic, the smoke, and the war: "What are you doing? Why bring us to ground? Why tear the last hope of the galaxy down?" The sixteen-year-old just smiles through the gray, The ghost of the grandfather guiding the way. His voice is a whisper that freezes the space: "Do you remember my mother? Do you remember her face? You're the one that killed my mother... and my unborn little sister." And Finn freezes solid, the guilt rushing deep, As the sins of the throne room awaken from sleep. No mercy is spoken! The blue blade ignites! Finn leaps for his life in the grandest of fights! Blue clashes with crimson, the sparks fly like rain, But the old man is fighting a losing campaign. Sidious shatters his alignment and guard, Driving the legendary chief to the yard— One cold, silent flash of a lightsaber blade, The silver head rolls. A new Empire is made. The inner doors slide where the younglings are hid, Huddled in corners from the wrath of the kid. But he clips down his weapon, his blade remains dead, No terror is breathed, he lifts up his head. He looks at the circle, the strong and the proud, And delivers the truth that shatters the cloud: "Look how fast it was for me to destroy the Jedi," he says. "Come with me, younglings. You are strong. You are proud. You will be my Inquisitors. There is nothing you cannot do, ever. Do not let the dark take you... become the darkness." The children step forward, leaving ashes behind, The vanguard of shadow no longer left blind. While out in the stars, the pod flies away, Finn’s son in the dark, running from the dawn of his day. The wheel keeps on turning, the light and the night, Inheriting the trauma, inheriting the fight. The cycle continues... And the Sith rise again.
