See how a set of cards is prepared for die-cutting — from print layout and cardstock loading to printing and hydraulic guillotine cutting. This production run didn’t go perfectly: the press picked up two sheets at once, causing multiple paper jams and a partially fused print. After clearing the paper path and checking the fuser unit, printing continues until the full card set is complete. The printed sheets are then cut to size on a hydraulic guillotine and prepared for the next stage: die-cutting on the press. Part 2 will show the die-cutting process.
