The final touches - Restoring my 1974 caravan

Looking back, restoring Ladybird was much bigger than I ever expected. So many people helped, so many things to learn, and many small steps that slowly brought her back to life. They say it takes a village to raise a child... I think it also takes a village to restore a caravan. This caravan restoration was never just about fixing an old caravan. It was about building a small home, a new life, and a new adventure. And soon, Ladybird and I will finally be on the road. But before Ladybird and I set off on our travels, I am taking a short break for something very special — a family reunion. My son and his family are visiting South Africa from Ireland, and we will be spending some time together at Leeupoort Holiday Village.
