For someone who enjoys Deus Ex so much I know its a shocker. A friend in my first high school got into it around 2000-2001 and recommended it to me. At the time I was preoccupied with other games (those years were good years for games). My first exposure for stealth that was outside of line-of-sight was Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid Substance (both for the PC). So I ended up missing the Thief title entirely. So what better time to give this game a good try. I recall some MSN conversation my friend was having with me when relaying his experiences. Sneaking, water arrows, light. I plan to play the first 2 or 3 titles of Thief before jumping onto The Dark Mod which runs on the Doom 3 engine (which is the BEST engine for that hard shadow style game).
