He May Be Old, But He Has Young Ideas - Charley Straight

Here is a rare old Rolla Artis roll with a great one step rag tune by the composer/arranger/pianist Charley Straight. Using one of his pseudonames (Billie King) for the Rolla Artis brand, Charley outdoes himself on this tune and demonstrates why he was one of the most sought after pianists of the ragtime era, and onwards. Enjoy this roll as performed by Charley on the 1925 Stroud Duo Art Pianola, and subscribe to this channel so you do not miss any great rag rolls to come. Thanks for viewing !
