From Baltal, we took a cab towards Srinagar. On the way, we passed through the beautiful Sonmarg. We didn't stop there this time, but captured some beautiful views of the Kashmir landscape from the road. We also had a surprise plan for one important activity in Kashmir. We didn't reveal the location initially and kept it as a suspense! 😍 Finally, we reached the place hoping to enjoy River Rafting. But unfortunately, our bad luck continued! 😅 Due to the ongoing Amarnath Yatra, rafting activities were closed during our visit. So, we continued towards Srinagar. 🏠 After reaching Srinagar, our next challenge was finding an affordable place to stay. We spent almost 2 hours searching for a budget-friendly houseboat and finally found one! We checked into the houseboat, had dinner, relaxed, and slept after a long day of travel. 🌅 The next morning, we started exploring Srinagar city. Our first stop was Lal Chowk, one of the most famous and busy areas of Srinagar. We explored the local streets, enjoyed fruits, had Kulfi during our road trip, explored the shops, and went shopping for our families. 🛍️ We bought: • Toys for the family • Dresses and clothes • Local shopping items • Fruits and snacks After shopping at Lal Chowk, we returned to our houseboat and took some much-needed rest. 🌙 In the evening, we went out for dinner and experienced another interesting side of Srinagar — a double-decker bus ride through the city! After enjoying the night ride and dinner, we returned to our houseboat for our overnight stay. But our Kashmir journey is coming to an end... ✈️ In the next episode, we begin our return journey from Srinagar → Katra → Delhi → Chennai.
